BETHANY BARICH

Bethany is a graduate from Point Park University, a private university located in the heart of downtown Pittsburgh. While there she received a Bachelor of Arts in Cinema Production.

She's done work ranging from short narrative actions to emotional experimental films. While at Point Park University, Bethany was able to discover and pursue her love for directing. She developed her style and has gained the confidence to be able to lead a team from pre-production all the way into post-production.

Bethany has experience not only in directing, but the following positions: 2nd Assistant Camera, Wardrobe Stylist, Set Dresser, Art Production Assistant, 2nd Assistant Director, Script Supervisor, Executive Producer, and Producer.

Not only a lover for film, Bethany is also an avid writer. She currently writes for Skinny Teatox - a Canadian based detox tea company - where she writes fitness and healthy lifestyle articles. Bethany also wrote short film reviews for a site called Monologue Blogger. Along with that, Bethany also manages a blog where she occasionally will write reviews on newer and older films. In the past, Bethany has written for a Pittsburgh based magazine called Maniac Magazine, where she would write fashion related blogs for their site.

She was previously a personal assistant for actor Ryan Hurst, and his wife Molly Cookson. As the assistant Bethany helped manage their schedules, set up appointments, ran errands, and helped keep watch of their nine dogs!
